Meet the Chaser / today’s #WCW: Daisy Chebet Kosgey, from the Agribusiness department in our Thika branch. She studied Economics, Sociology & Mathematics from University of Nairobi and has been in Chase bank for two years and six months.

Daisy is passionate about building strong and lasting relationships not only with her esteemed customers but also with colleagues and other people she interacts with. She likes giving the best she has and being the best in what she can which means leaving things better than she found them and positively impacting the lives of the people she meets.

The late Nelson Mandela of South Africa inspires her; he served 27 years in prison as he attempted to fight apartheid. He was selfless and his acts always remind her that it is not always about ‘me’. She believes that it is only in our attempt to help others that we help ourselves and after all, service to humanity is service to God.

Being a mother of one beautiful girl is her greatest achievement in life. At Chase bank as a retail sales officer, she was among top five staff who were given a two days full board vacation at Sarova Whitesands resort and spa due to excellent performance in the number of opened and funded accounts.

She says being in receivership means being able to hold herself even when things seems to fall apart. It has not only taught her to fully trust in God who knows what the future holds but also the secret of remaining focused even when circumstances dictate otherwise.

Daisy’s favorite Chase habit is the extra mile habit. The one thing that irritates her most is when people agree to do something in a team but some team members decide to forget, which in turn messes up the whole team.

If given a chance to relive the last five years, she says she would live each day at a time without fear just like she does today. She wouldn’t worry too much about the future after all it is in God’s hands.
