What were you doing when you were 17 years? Most of us were probably thinking about assignments because we were in our last year of high school while some were counting down to turning 18 years to graduate from being a minor to a junior citizen. For Tejas Hirani who is 17 years old, becoming a world champion in motor sports is what matters to him.
Being a world champion is the goal that everyone will recognize me for but I want to be remembered as someone who helped, promoted and inspired people in my country and throughout Africa. I want to be able to pay it forward
Tejas Hirani started his racing career at just nine years and has become one of Africa’s brightest young athletes with exposure to motor sport across karts, rallying, rally cross and single seaters. At only 17 years, he has already achieved domestic and international success which positions him to be a champion in the making. Through good coaching and mentorship from Team Magic, Tejas is who is a patriotic Kenyan; is now ready to show the world what Kenya is made of.
Youth matter to us; we aim at enabling them achieve what matters most to them through sponsorships and mentorship which are means to empowering future leaders. We are glad to be part of Tejas’ journey in becoming a world champion, and as he starts his new a contract with OMSE to race RXLites in the Ice series in Scandinavia & the World Series, we wish him the very best.
